Ed Kilbourn picked up the bass guitar at the age of 12, enamored with the coolness of an older sister’s bassist boyfriend. Ed played throughout high school and in to college, endlessly attempting to emulate Geddy Lee, Jaco Pastorius and Mark King. Those efforts proving somewhat fruitless, Ed took a sabbatical for a dozen years or so. Ed has thus far limited Motocross, cycling and skiing injuries to head and lower extremeties as not to interrupt his Bass playing.
